Harvest in the cellar 2019

September is the month of the harvest and we will join Cantine Aperte in Vendemmia.

It starts with a walk in the vineyards because to have an excellent wine serve an excellent grape.

Here we will do a demonstration of harvesting the Amarone grapes: manually we will select the best bunches to store them in small boxes.

We will then proceed with the tasting tour of the winery: a sensory journey where we visit the winery we will taste our wines: Valpolicella, Ripasso, Amarone, Amarone Forlago and Recioto.

We will talk about terroirs, traditions, production techniques, characteristics of wines and pairings. It will be possible to see the fermentation tanks, the barrels for aging and the fruit cellar.

Of course it is also possible to buy the wines you will taste!

I remember that we also have extra virgin olive oil produced with olive trees that you see in the vineyard, it is a small production: it is the oil for the family and the extract is sold in the cellar!

It is possible to sleep in the rooms next to the cellar!
